Imagine! Program Artists
Introducing the artists of our non-profit partnership with Imagine! Colorado! Imagine! is a non-profit service agency focused on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a variety of services.
Art Gym currently supports 15 participating artists, all of whom will participate in a Leyden Jar Exhibit, opening May 22.
What makes Art Gym a good or appealing partner for the Imagine programming? Art Gym is a great partner for Imagine! as we value intentional and meaningful relationships. Our artists gain so much from the ability to work alongside other artists in their community and having the opportunity to create in an authentic studio space. Imagine! also values sharing our mission with the wider community and Art Gym has welcomed us and our mission.
Does Imagine foster long-term or short-term relationships with clients? How long, on average, have the clients been making art in your programming? Imagine! fosters long-term relationships with our clientele. Our adult program specifically offers the opportunity for clients to participate from the age of 21 until end of life. It is not uncommon for an individual to have been in our services for more than a decade or two.
Our art program is growing and becoming more and more intentional. Imagine! has offered art classes for many years. The more advanced artist group has been working towards exhibitions and selling art intentionally for 1.5 years now.
