Reduce Your Use
Both Members and the Public are encouraged to submit work:
Co-curated by Judith Bergquist and Ilan Gutin
Submissions Due | August 28th, 2020
Exhibition Dates | September 10th – October 4th, 2020
Opening | September 10th, 5-8PM
The opening is a great change to come meet the artists. It is free and open to public. Masks will be required to attend, and social distancing will be in effect.
This exhibition is in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. Originally scheduled to take place in April, it was unfortunately delayed due to COVID-19 and quarantine.
Requirements: Artwork should encourage the viewer to recognize that we have to do more than recycle; we must reduce. Artwork can, but is not required to be made of recycled material, showing the effects of recycling/not recycling.
Now more than ever, we need to value and preserve the Earth. How are we as people responding to the Earth in this new world?
All mediums are welcome.
***Due to slow post times, we won’t be accepting mailed artwork at this time. All works needs to be hand delivered.
If any work of art produced by a member of Art Gym included in this exhibition is sold, 90% will go to the artist. If any work of art produced by a non-member included in this exhibition is sold, 70% will go to the artist.
