We called on local student artists to plant the seeds of their creative careers; now it’s time for their art to emerge! Join us for “Bloom,” a juried community college exhibition where blossoming artists from Red Rocks, Arapahoe, Front Range, and the Community College of Denver showcase their vibrant works of art while competing for a cash prize. This year, you vote, they win! $5 gets you four color-coded voting stickers. During the opening reception, place one sticker on your favorite piece in each category: jewelry, sculpture, drawing/painting, and photography. The artist with the most votes in each category is awarded the cash prize! Juried by nationally and internationally acclaimed Denver artist and curator Eric Nord, with his keen eye and dedication to the arts, Nord will highlight the best in show while the community crowns the crowd favorite. Vote, celebrate, and root for new talent during the “ Bloom “ opening reception on May 22nd from 6 – 9 PM.
