Get to the root of your creativity during our weekend workshop “Alchemy and Art.”
By learning the centuries-old process of combining plant tannins with iron, we’ll spark a chemical reaction that transforms natural ingredients into permanent ink. Then, you’ll sketch a design and bring it to life on a provided upcycled bag or wall hanging using the synthetic free ink you just made. Finally, dip your creation in a plant-based tannin bath, locking it in permanently the all-natural way. No experience necessary and all materials are provided.
