Printmaker and longtime Art Gym member Brady Smith invites viewers to contemplate which medium impacts their emotions most by exploring what works, what doesn’t, and why. This exhibition, The Reproducibility of Mediums, challenges traditional expectations by focusing on thought over feeling, prompting viewers to consider the production process and creative decisions behind art-making. Using a variety of mediums—digital photography, graphite and charcoal drawing, screen printing, video production, and the written word—Smith’s work examines how the chosen medium impacts the emotional outcome.
