Mirroring the essence of creation—messy, diverse, and brimming with life, Quick Studies: Figure Drawings features artists from Art Gym’s very own figure drawing sessions and artist members. Showcasing the spontaneity of figure drawing in various media, the unframed works on paper are hung on magnet boards to emphasize how the practice of mark-making is always evolving and may never be complete. This approach embraces the raw, spontaneous, and energetic world of figure drawing. With an unconventional display, overlapping pages and embracing the organic, experience a lively and immersive exhibition in the Leyden jar from September 26th through October 20th.
