Come join this informal critique moderated by artist, and Executive Director and Curator of Denver Digerati, Sharifa Lafon, alongside Art Gym staff on Wednesday October 18 from 6-9PM. Critiques are free and open to the public. Bring some pieces of work to have critiqued by the group, or join in on the discussion even if you don’t have work share. Beer and light snacks will be served!

Sharifa Lafon (she/her) is a curator, artist, and educator. Her current roles include serving as the executive director and curator at Denver Digerati, a 501(c)(3) that specializes in emergent media, as a lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Colorado Denver, and as a board member of Tilt West and the Colorado Committee for the National Museum of Women in the Arts (CCNMWA). Previously Sharifa was the chief curator of art and education at the Center for the Arts Evergreen and associate curator at the Emmanuel and Next Stage Galleries on the CU Denver campus. She holds a BA in Art History, a BFA in Photography, and a MH in Visual studies from the University of Colorado Denver.
