Come join this informal critique moderated by Esther Hernandez, the curator of Union Hall, alongside Art Gym staff on Wednesday February 22 from 6-9PM. Critiques are free and open to the public. Bring some pieces of work to have critiqued by the group, or join in on the discussion even if you don’t have work share.

Esther Hz is a multidisciplinary artist and Chief Curator at Union Hall. She recently managed an international artist residency, youth program, podcast, and exhibition space as Associate Director at PlatteForum. Through the Creator’s Studio and Failure Lab programs, she has mentored young artists at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver. Currently, she also works as an Executive Assistant at Black Ball Projects, a small arts nonprofit based in New York City, and maintains her studio practice at XDenver. Her passion for supporting emerging artists and composing out-of-the-box opportunities and events shines through in her work. She has curated several experimental art events as a past resident artist at Redline Contemporary Art Center. Hz has become well known for installation and performance, setting up interactive creative experiences for the viewer.
