Art Gym Opens Up Possibilities for Print Artists.
Print & Process – Possibilities in Print, Aug. 6 – Sept. 12, 2015 at Art Gym Denver
(Denver) Art Gym Denver launches their Printmaking Workspace. Art Gym is challenging the traditional studio model by helping artists to create more, for less. They provide access to the tools artists need to make art.
Art Gym has built one of the area’s largest print making assets with 3,000 sq. ft. dedicated to the art form. To celebrate and showcase this challenging medium, Art Gym will exhibit several generations of the area’s top printmakers. The show Print & Process, Possibilities in Print will run from August 6 – September 12, 2015.
This exhibition is an exploration of the relationships between the region’s printmakers, spread over multiple generations. To continue the legacy of artists Clinton Cline, the late E.C. Cunningham and Barb Hale, Art Gym has acquired presses and tools from the artists. Art Gym membership enables future generations of printmakers.
The 17,000 sq. ft. Art Gym is located at 1460 Leyden St. Denver, CO 80205. The Art Gym Gallery is open Tuesday – Sunday from 10 am – 6 pm and during the following special events:
