April 24 | 6-9PM
Take a deep breath. In that moment, you are connected to every human being. Yet, connection alone does not define society. In the profound exhibition Present Breath, artist Morgan DeVillier captures the faint movement of breath across multiple people, emphasizing the shared human experience of breathing while confronting the prejudices that historically divide us. Using large-scale prints of backlit subjects and a collage of historical, anthropological archives, DeVillier exposes the delicate yet profound human connection of breathing to redefine social narratives. The photographic exhibition opens on April 24th from 6 – 9 PM and will remain on display through May 18th.
