This class will introduce students to watercolor materials including various papers, brushes, and several forms of watercolor paint. Students will learn color mixing and employ wash techniques to produce shaded forms. We’ll focus on painting simple shapes like fruits, vegetables, and plants with the goal of creating small paintings and symmetrical designs. Beginners as well as those with some experience are welcome to this easy and fun approach to watercolor painting. All supplies are included for use in the class but please bring any supplies you may already have.
