An 18 hour workshop for those metalsmiths that are comfortable with soldering and have an interest in learning how to incorporate stones in their work. They will learn how to cut, fit, inlay and polish stones for their jewelry.

Participants expectations: Students will walk away with a finished sterling silver, inlay bracelet they have created using a variety of jasper or agate stones.

Instructor Vickie Stevinson has over 15 years of experience in jewelry metalsmithing and has honed her skills by attending various workshops and studios, including over a decade of annual workshops at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. Her expertise has helped shape the Art Gym metalsmithing workspace, where she has worked for nearly 10 years encouraging and guiding emerging jewelers. Her work is available for purchase through Polished Earth Gallery in the Art District on Santa Fe.
