Build it, cut it, ink it, print it! Combining elements of collage and printmaking, the Create Now! Course: Introduction to Collagraph inspires you to experiment with a variety of materials, textures, and colors. Using both relief and intaglio printmaking methods, you’ll learn how to construct, seal, ink, and roll out a one-of-a-kind print. All materials are provided, but if you’re not pressed for time, feel free to search for and bring along any textured treasures to add a personal touch. This course is fun and playful – so, whether you’re a beginner or experienced printmaker, come discover how unexpected materials can lead to prints that make a lasting impression.
Provided supplies include:
Printing plates to collage onto, printing paper, adhesive, textures, mediums, and ink.
Optional Supplies to bring:
X-acto knives, scissors, hole punchers
Thin textured papers, cardboard, fabric, plastic, plant material, tape, string, or any soft-textured item.
