Add function and flare to your handmade book using Coptic Stitching. This traditional technique involves sewing pages together with a decorative chain-line stitch. Ideal for creating sketchbooks, journals, or scrapbooks, the Coptic stitch allows books to lay flat on a table. Registration includes all the supplies to make one book, and no experience is necessary, but sewing skills are a plus. Add a new chapter to your bookmaking story, and sign up now for our one-day workshop, Coptic Stitch Bookbinding.
This workshop will be held in the Art Gym Classroom: Check in at the Front Desk when you arrive.
Supplies will be provided for each student to make one book. Students can bring their own supplies if they wish.
