Connections with family and nature run deep – especially in these enchanting depictions brought to life by two friends with years of history. Painters Jeane Michelle Warner Green and Sarah Tenney’s works both portray dreamlike spaces, transforming the intensity of life into something beautiful. Tenney’s installation features paintings of animals and rambunctious children paired with pieces from domestic settings and the natural world. In contrast, Green’s more traditional paintings showcase figures in still, restful positions with elements of nature harmoniously intertwined.
