Limited to 2 participants. This workshop meets from 6:30-9:30pm, Monday through Thursday: Dec. 18, 19, 20, 21
This workshop will be a fast-paced introduction to the stone lithography process. Students will learn the process of grinding a stone, drawing with grease crayons, etching, rolling up, and printing. While printing, students will work in a team, assisting one another to learn how to sponge, proof, and edition their artwork.
The stone lithography process is a ton of work and requires attention to detail and patience. Each student will print one small edition from their stone; about 8 prints each measuring 11×7.5 inches.
All materials included. No experience necessary.
