Using the Reduction Print Process, students will explore contemporary techniques for the traditional Japanese Moku Hanga printmaking process. Learn basic registration techniques, ink mixing options, value and color progressions, glazing and gradations. An emphasis will be on using alternative mediums and techniques for unique results.
Loughridge has developed an identifiable and unique style to his woodblock prints which are in private and museum collections nationally. He has given workshops and talks at the Salmagundi Club, NY; National Cowboy Heritage Museum, OK; Wichita Art Museum, KS; and CU Boulder, CO to list a few.
